Just a short drive from Armenia’s capital of Yerevan is the Aragatsotn region. Although most tourists visit the region in search of hikes, the wine industry is very promising, and the land has much more to give to the people of Armenia.

Due east of Armenia’s capital city of Yerevan is Ararat Valley. Already, it is one of the leaders among the provinces for wine production in terms of export and cultivation.

Located in the Armenian Northwest, Armavir is the region with the highest quality wine production in the nation. The province contributes 17.8% to the total annual agriculture in Armenia.

The rocky province of Tavush rests in the northeast portion of Armenia. Although the region only produces 4.8 percent of the total annual agricultural production of Armenia, grapes are among the main crops.

Located at the southeastern end of Armenia, the region of Vayots Dzor is home to rich history and stunning landscapes. The province is one of the leaders in Armenian wine production in terms of export and cultivation.
